2016 has been such an extraordinary year!
In 2016 we moved on top of the building where we founded BOGDAN & VAN BROECK in 2007. Yes, in 2017 we celebrate 10 years of existence – you will hear from us on this matter.
In 2016 we engaged more than ever with our social mission, both in Belgium and Romania, and plan to continue to serve the public interest throughout 2017 and beyond. Worldwide.
In 2016 we seized the need for creative social and political action and, at the same time, the opportunity to get involved in policy making, for architects invent new patterns and concepts to address possibilities. In 2017 we will continue to redefine the role of the architect in society.
2017 will be a year of reflection upon 10 years of activity, but – looking at what is going on in the world – also a year of action. Our team, which has been growing throughout 2016 to become more agile and united than ever, is ready to face the global political instability, environmental challenges and social movements. Leo and I thank Thomas R., Maxime, Tom, Lourenço, Emilie, Simon, Thomas W., Loïc, Sarah, Martina, Felix, Félicien, Marta & Laura for their dedication and we look forward to acting together.
As one, we believe in the power of our cultural heritage to create the sense of belonging and social cohesion. As architects, we will take our responsibility to enrich it.
